User Data Deletion

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Klydos is used by businesses to reply to messages on their own Facebook Page or Instagram account. This page explains how to have your data deleted, whether you are one of those businesses or someone who messaged one.

If you messaged a business that uses Klydos

We store your message history with that business so their assistant can hold a coherent conversation. To have it deleted, email privacy@klydos.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include:

  • The name of the Facebook Page or Instagram account you messaged.
  • The name on the account you messaged from.
  • The approximate date of your last message.

We use these details only to locate your records. We confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. You may also remove Klydos's access yourself in Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, though that stops future processing rather than deleting past messages, so email us as well if you want existing records removed.

If you are a business using Klydos

You can delete your data at any time:

  • Disconnect a Page — open Channels in your workspace and disconnect it. We immediately stop receiving messages for that Page and delete the stored access token.
  • Delete your workspace — email privacy@klydos.com from the address on your account. This permanently removes your conversations, customer records, product catalog, and account details.

What deletion covers

A completed deletion removes message content and history, customer profile records, stored access tokens, and account details. Anonymized, aggregated counts that cannot identify anyone may be retained, along with records we are legally required to keep. Backups are purged on their normal rotation, within 90 days.
